The Black Market Food Truck


Owners Mike and Christian decided to take their catering company (The Nines) to the streets and offer some of their signature dishes. The menu is mainly comprised of various gourmet sandwiches, sides and soups; after more then a month it seems that their Pork Belly Banh Mi is becoming their flagship menu item although you’ll find three different varieties of Banh Mi every day. Their plans are to have a strong lunch and dinner presence, especially at Larkin. As of 2015, Mike and Christian opened their first brick n mortar restaurant, Marble + Rye. Listen to Mike and Christian talk to Donnie about their second year on the streets and plans for the restaurant below on episode #22 of Grain of Salt.
