Food Porn: Antoinette’s On the Hill

UPDATE: Since writing this post, Nick Charlaps has bought the building.

Some of my earliest memories come from going to my grandparent’s house in West Seneca and getting “treated” to going to Antoinette’s for some ice cream.  When I walk in still today, I feel like its for something special.  The style inside hasn’t changed since the 70’s (or atleast it seems that way) but that’s a good thing.  Its a great place for a dessert after a date and aside from one of the smallest/weirdest parking lots in the southtowns, it’s filled with delicious sundaes and a huge chocolate section (i’d argue the sponge candy is better then Fowlers) making it worth the trip.

Greek Mint Special Sundae

This delicious guy is called Greek Mint Special, and was covered in those awesome Greek Mints, some Whipped Cream, Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream, Some Hot Fudge, and some Mint Sauce.  Pretty tasty but too much whip cream, kinda filled me up before I even got to the ice cream.  Not bad though, good amount of stuff for 5.95.
